PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Preformed solder is a welding product that machined solder into a specific shape and can be used for welding components, chip packaging, electronic mounting, metal materials and surface mount (SMT) products. Because it can be made into various shapes and specifications according to user needs, users can be more flexible in product design. At the same time, good dimensional accuracy, clean surface and less scratches ensure the consistency of the solder joint.
Preformed solder is a kind of advanced welding material, which consists of a thin preformed tin sheet and a flux precoating on the surface. Due to the advantages of precise positioning, stable filler metal content, low welding cavity rate and less flux residue, it is especially suitable for welding occasions with large pads and high quality requirements. It is an effective method to reduce the cavity rate of welded parts by reflow welding with preformed solder instead of solder paste. Compared with solder paste, it uses a solid flux, so there is no large amount of volatiles caused by organic solvents, thereby preventing and reducing the formation of holes during welding.
APPLICATION CASE
The preformed solder is packaged in a roll and mounted using an automatic mounting process to provide you with an easy method. Due to the standardization of the predetermined amount of solder, the operation is simple and a lot of manpower is saved. Preformed pads usually produce a uniform weld point, simplifying the final inspection step of assembly. Preformed pads accurately increase the amount of solder, and preformed solder washers eliminate the need for secondary welding processes.

Hey, let’s talk about high-temp solder wire—you know, the stuff that doesn’t melt when things get hot? Regular solder wires melt too easy, right? Like that common 8812 one, it only handles 250-280°C. But when you’re packaging chips, you gotta bake ’em multiple times at high temps. Conventional lead-
